The name Erzbierschof is comming from a pun: Erzbischof is in German an archbishop. We added the word 'bier' into the middle of Erzbischof and now we have an "Erzbierschof"

Particularly  I like the sour beers (Geuze, Lambik), the Porter styles (especially the Baltic Porter), the IPA's (India Pale Ales), oak aged beers, almost disappeared beerstiles like the Leipziger Gose and Sahti.

Not very impressed by the average lager taste, it took me a little longer until I liked the good beers.

For the idea to build a portal for beer lovers, I was very impressed. I was not hesitating lon when I had the opportunity to be a participant with Erzbierschof.

Personally, I like sour beers like Kriek and Geuze, and developed complex beers like oak aged ales ales.
