Opinion of Julian Allen about:
Bottled 75cl. Murky deep copper with a huge quick diminishing bubbly light beige head. Deeply inviting brett accented aroma with raisins, oak, dandelion, oxidized lemon peel, candied apricot, caramel and sage emerging. Good balance. Creamy palate. Some acidity. Medium bodied. A tad too much carbonation. Complex. Nice vanilla presence on the swallow, introducing a lingering caramel component in the finish which is dryish, reminiscent of dandelion and sage.
Opinion of magdalar about:
A beautiful beer that comes closer to being an American Barley Wine. A well-balanced body of caramelly sweetness, with a dash of prune juice, and a hoppy side reminiscent of Stone's Old Guardian (if Stone's offering were well balanced).

ausgewogen! sehr runder Geschmack. Kaffee, Schokolade, Vanille und Caramel. Etwas weniger langanhaltend als das choklat, und ausgewogener und runder im Geschmack als das mokka von southern tier.

Sehr ausgewogener Geschmack. Dezent schokoladig. Perfektes Bier für kalte Winterabende.

War überrascht über die intensiven Pfeffernoten. Das ist ein Pfeffer und kein Citrus IPA ;-)

My review at BeerAdvocate:
A: Beautiful deep amber to brown color with a huge aired fluffy tan head when poured. Small retention and many lacings left. Its head never disappears completely S: Delicious fruity and acid smell. Risins and apples mainly. Close to a Lambic. Bit woody with a bready and malty backbone. Fruity esters and yeasts T: Very fruity. Again, risings mainly. Mild sourness. Absolutely refreshing, spicy and tasty M: Medium body. Medium sour and fruity aftertaste. Not much alcohol despite of the medium ABV O: Bellissima birra. Balanced in all senses. Refreshing and, at the same time sour and tasty
